1 skein/ball of Red Heart Super Saver Chunky Buff Yarn (bulky category 5)
1 skein/ball of Red Heart Super Saver Chunky White Yarn (bulky category 5)
1 skein/ball of Red Heart Super Saver Chunky Tea Leaf Yarn (bulky category 5)
6.5mm Crochet Hook
Craft Scissors
Yarn Needle
4 Buttons
White Cotton Thread

BLs = Back Loops
ch = chain
ch-3 = 3 chain stitches made at the start of a round
dc = double crochet
dc2tog = double crochet 2 stitches together
hdc = half double crochet
hdc2tog = half double crochet 2 stitches together
hk = hook
opp. = opposite
rnd = round
sc = single crochet
sc2tog = single crochet 2 stitches together
sl st = slip stitch
sp = space
st/s = stitch/es
unused loops = loops at the bottom of a stitch/foundation chain that haven’t been crocheted into yet
Sole
With Buff Yarn, ch 16.
Rnd 1: 1 sc into 2nd ch from hk, 1 sc into each of the next 13 ch sts, 5 sc into last ch st, (working on opp. side of foundation chain into unused loops and over yarn tail) 1 sc into each of the next 13 unused loops, 2 sc into the last unused loop, sl st into 1st sc to join. (34 sts)
Rnd 2: ch 3, 1 dc into same sp as join, 1 dc into each of the next 14 sts, 2 dc into each of the next 3 sts, 1 dc into each of the next 14 sts, 2 dc into each of the last 2 sts, sl st into top of ch-3 to join. (40 sts)
Rnd 3: ch 3, 1 dc into each of the next 15 sts, 2 dc into each of the next 6 sts, 1 dc into each of the next 16 sts, 2 dc into each of the last 2 sts, sl st into top of ch-3 to join. (48 sts)
Finish off.
Sides
With White Yarn, join with a sl st into the BL of st where you last finished off.
Rnd 4: (work in BLs only for the round), ch 1, 1 sc into same sp as join, 1 sc into each st around to the end, sl st into 1st sc to join.
Rnd 5: ch 1, 1 sc into same sp as join, 1 sc into each st around to the end, sl st into 1st sc to join.
Rnd 6: Rep Rnd 5.
Finish off.
Top
With Tea Leaf Yarn, join with a sl st into st where you last finished off.
Rnd 7: ch 1, 1 sc into same sp as join, 1 sc into each of the next 13 sts, sc2tog (twice), hdc2tog (twice), dc2tog (twice), hdc2tog (twice), sc2tog (twice), 1 sc into each of the next 14 sts, sl st into 1st sc to join. (38 sts)
Rnd 8: ch 1, 1 sc into same sp as join, 1 sc into each of the next 12 sts, sc2tog, hdc2tog, dc2tog (twice), hdc2tog, sc2tog, 1 sc into each of the next 13 sts, sl st into 1st sc to join. (32 sts)
Rnd 9: sl st around into each of next 31 sts.
Finish off.
Weave in yarn tails with a yarn needle.
Band
With Buff Yarn, ch 13.
Rnd 1: 1 sc into 2nd ch from hk, 1 sc into each of the next 10 ch sts, 4 sc into last ch st, (working on opp. side of foundation chain) 1 sc into each of the next 10 unused loops, 3 sc into the last unused loop, sl st into 1st sc to join.
Finish off.
Put the slipper on your foot and pin the band onto each side of the slipper with sewing pins. Take the slipper off. Sew buttons onto each end of the band.
You can even add an insole insert into the slipper for extra comfort!
