In this video we will learn how to crochet a ribbed beanie (Style 2) with the ribbed stitch along the lower edge of the beanie. This beanie uses basic stitch such as the chain, slip stich and double crochet. You will finish it off with the last 4 rows in a ribbed stitch. This beanie will become one of your go to beanies for everday use. Use the suggested hook sizes below to crochet a beanie from infant to adult sizes. Please note that everyone crochets a little differently so these are just suggestions. Please feel free to share this videos with your friends and family.

Infant- Size G Hook, Babies Size H hook, Toddler Size I hook. To crochet a beanie for an older child use a size J hook and a medium weight worsted yarn. For adults you can use a size K hook and a heavier weight of yarn (maybe even a chunky weight. The pattern is the same for all sizes. Only the size of hook and weight of yarn changes. This makes this the perfect beanie pattern for all sizes. From Baby – adult size. Follow the same pattern. If you want to make it able to stretch more don’t do the last row of single crochet stitching. Happy crocheting
